Consider/Approve Tire Bid

Background Information:

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Southern Tire Mart, Triple T Tire, Best One Tire, and Hubs City Tire for the purchase of new tires. Bridgestone R268 or Michelin XZE2 tires (specifications attached). We received bids for this purchase as follows:

This year’s bids were competitive with Best One Tire submitting the low bid that met all bid specifications.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the lowest bid meeting all specifications as submitted by Best One Tire.
